We’ll be hosting our 3rd reparation salon with Rough Drafts on Wednesday, August 27th from 7 to 9 p.m. We will also focus on Black August. The presenters will be Ben Passmore, graphic novelist who will be launching Black Arms to Hold you Up: A History of Black Resistance and BlakRappMadusa, who works with currently and formerly incarcerated women, as musical artist. Ben and BlackRappMadusa will consider what reparations has to do with Black August and freeing them all. We’ll be meeting for inspiration, food, and conversation.
